A little bit about me. I have over 40 years of experience creating solutions for businesses. In the last 30 years, I’ve been in Information Technology (IT).

I began in government service, developing personnel application, when few computers existed, logistics applications and Artificial Intelligence (AI). I’ve been on teams creating solutions for Military Traffic Management, chatbots supporting US Patent and Trademark Office functions, and extensive inspections of US Government military Housing. I’ve developed management system for the State Department’s Foreign Service Institute.

On the civilian side, I’ve worked on meat processing systems, retail operations for a major pawn broker, and document management for a major university.

I filled many roles over my career from automation branch chief, developer, lead, Scrum master, project manager. Integral to all of these positions was the responsibility for training and mentoring team and staff members.

In 2021 I moved to Florida and toned down my contract work. I’m married with five daughters and I’ve been blessed with a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, in the under 12 category, and have become concerned about their education. Also during this time there has been a surge in “consumer” level AI tools and other digital products. Those items have become my new focus in the last few years.
